here it started

we got married in a small town in south-east south dakota on august 10, 2012. it seems like we've been married for longer. although i'm terribly self conscious of this photograph, my husband loves it and i think it's because it perfectly describes our relationship - me always giggling at some crazy things he's said, him smiling back (although difficult to tell from this picture). this is our first dance as a married couple, the first of many. we usually dance in the kitchen as we impatiently wait for the noodles to boil or the oven to preheat. ours is the kind of marriage i never knew existed, one i'd rarely seen exemplified in my life. i am constantly dumbfounded by the generosity, patients, and graciousness this guy shows me; he's resorted my faith... in so many things.
