he's here!

actually he's been here for almost a week. but i'm a selfish new mommy and i've been hogging him for myself ;)

my mom, with her 6th sense, scheduled her flight in to alexandria the night before my water broke, so she's been here to help out from the beginning. she will be here until next monday and joey's mom arrives tonight. i can't describe how great it's been - especially today, joey's first day back to work - to have someone here to talk to, offer advice for this new mommy, and get henry and me out of the house during the day. we're busy settling in to our new, amazing lives as parents so posts might be short and sparse for a while. but i'm a mom now, you know, so i'm obligated (but really just super excited) to share some pictures of my son, the most perfect child in the world :) enjoy!
